25 years ago, I was just learning what duplicate bridge was, I attended the Nebraska Regional…my first regional. I met this darling young woman with black hair styled in a pixie cut. She had a disarming smile and an inviting and charming personality.


Not only was she cute and adorable but a super-good bridge player. Her name was Peggy Kaplan; she was a good friend of my teacher Jim Nash.
